“The Swamp Camp is different from the other camps. The Gurus speak of the Sleeper and promise enlightenment. If I serve and prove myself, I can be part of it. Perhaps it is dangerous, but here lies power … a different kind of power.”
Quest Log “Admission to the Swamp Camp”
You become a Templar in two steps: First Cor Kalom takes you as a Novice into the Swamp Camp (Chapter 1), then Cor Angar makes you a Templar (Chapter 3).

How much level you need in each chapter and how much of that the quests on this page already give you – the rest you get from combat.

Calculated with the Build Helper on "Gothic", without jewelry and potions: first the attribute to 100, then the talents in the order of the chapter path. The calculator only knows the critical chance of talents – combos are not decoded. "Hits" = hits until kill with the named weapon; the enemies are in the order of the chapters; gray = the build does not yet wear at this level. From level 10 onwards, the table calculates with the Templar's Armor and the circles – an assumption, because what level Cor Angar requires for admission is not in the decoded game code. A full playthrough was in Chapter 4 at level 20–28.
